Humayun is a Persian name that means “One who Favors” or “Champion”.
I belong to two lovely states of India — Kudachi (Karnataka) and Madai (Kutch, Gujarat).
I am a professional model, actor, short filmmaker, and have recently turned photographer as well.
I began my journey as a model, endorsing several reputed brands and products across India. I was fortunate to be listed in the Limca Book of Records (2001) as the only model to have completed the maximum number of modeling assignments in the country.
Gradually, my creative path extended into acting and storytelling. On stage, I have been part of Hindi theatre — especially experimental plays that challenge the boundaries of form and expression. On television, I have appeared in serials such as Sahara, Gharounda, O Maria, Noorjehan, Chhota Mooh Badi Baat, Mujhe Chaand Chahiye, and Main.
I also hosted two film-based TV shows — Bollywood Reporter and Ujala Filmi Baatain.
Over time, my creative instincts led me towards filmmaking. I wrote, produced, and directed short films like Dreamers of Peace (Aman Ka Paigham) and Toba Tek Singh. Both revolve around themes close to my heart — peace, brotherhood, and humanity. Dreamers of Peace was screened at several international and national film festivals.
In 2006, my passion for visuals found another dimension through photography — transforming a long-time hobby into a full-fledged profession. Over the years, I dabbled in and gained expertise across multiple genres, including portrait, tabletop, and 360-degree photography.
However, my primary forte and professional identity emerged in architectural photography — capturing the soul of spaces through light, lines, and perspective. I have since photographed portraits, portfolios, and stories — from people to places, from models to monuments. My lens explores skylines, heritage sites, dargahs, temples, churches, cinema halls, and every space that breathes character.
Through every medium I work in — be it modeling, acting, filmmaking, or photography — my constant endeavour is to celebrate art, humanity, and the universal message of peace.
At present, I continue to be involved both on and off camera, exploring stories that reflect life, emotion, and the shared spirit of creativity.
